North Buton (11/09), The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Buton Regency held the Socialization and Development of the Love Statistics Village (Beautiful Village) in 2024, where the village selected for development was Rombo Village. This activity took place at the Sara'ea Hotel, Kulisusu District.
The Head of BPS of North Buton Regency, Suharjufito Endo, SST, ME, in his report said that this activity was a form of manifestation of the mandate carried out by BPS through Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics and Presidential Regulation Number 39 of 2019 concerning One Data Indonesia, which explains that government data must be accurate, up-to-date, integrated, and accountable, including data produced by the Village Government. Therefore, in order to realize better village/sub-district governance, as well as improve targeted village/sub-district development, BPS is holding this Beautiful Village activity.
In line with this, the Assistant for Development and Economic Affairs, Sahrun Akri, SP., M.Si, representing the Regent of North Buton in his speech said that the implementation of One Data Indonesia was carried out comprehensively by the government, including village/sub-district governments. Villages/sub-districts are no longer considered as objects of development, but are placed as subjects and spearheads of development in improving community welfare. For this reason, he hopes that the Beautiful Village program can increase awareness and the active role of village/sub-district officials and the community in organizing statistical activities and the use and utilization of statistical data, so that development programs in villages are more targeted and sustainable.
In this activity, there was also material presented by two speakers, namely Suharjufito Endo, SST, ME, as the head of the BPS of North Buton Regency who presented material on the Socialization of Villages and Sub-districts Love Statistics. And the second speaker, Fahrullah, SST, as the head of the 2024 Beautiful Village Supervisory Board of the BPS of North Buton Regency, who presented material on One Data Village Indonesia (SDDI).
The activity was closed with the coaching of Statistical Agents carried out at the BPS Office of North Buton Regency. Statistical Agents consisting of Rombo Village Government Apparatus will later carry out statistical activities starting from collection, processing, and dissemination. In carrying out these activities, Statistical Agents will be coached by BPS of North Buton Regency during the Beautiful Village Activity.
