One of the routine activities every
subround (every 4 months) carried out by the Production Statistics Section is
the Ubinan Survey. This survey aims to collect yield data per hectare
(productivity) and other supporting information such as coordinating the
location of rubber, planting methods, planting systems of jajar legowo (rice
only), fertilizer use, pest control and others. Productivity data needed in
calculating food crop production. Productivity data collection was carried out
at the time of harvesting farmers, with direct measurements in the field on the
plots of magnification 2.5 mx 2.5 m. Food crops that are sampled are rice
fields, field rice, corn, soybeans, peanuts, cassava and sweet potatoes.
On Wednesday, January 30, 2019, several BPS
staff of the North Buton Regency carried out the Sub-Section Ubinan Survey
which was led directly by the head of the Production Statistics Section of BPS-Statistics
Buton Utara Regency. Commodities sampled and harvested in January are Cassava.
Ubinan is held in Bonelipu Village. Its location in the forest made the guards
walk 5 km by carrying a tool. In addition to Bonelipu, the sample of twins
around January is spread in other villages, such as Tomoahi Village, Jampaka
Village, Kalibu Village and Kasulatombi Village.
